Program description
The Housewise Routine SMS Program is an optional Home Services text program for homeowners. Subscribers who opt in receive the categories they choose: recurring home safety checklists, maintenance reminders, and newly published safety resources covering topics like smoke alarm checks, carbon monoxide detector checks, electrical safety, trip hazards, household emergency planning, child-safe storage, exterior lighting, and routine inspections. Housewise Routine is not a contractor, installer, repair company, or home service provider and does not perform, dispatch, supervise, guarantee, or warrant home improvement work.
Message categories
- Account Notifications: Enrollment confirmations, the home safety reminders you request, preference change confirmations, opt-out confirmations, and replies to HELP requests.
- Marketing: Homeowner safety resources, seasonal checklists, featured articles, and announcements about new planning tools.
Opt-in method
You opt in by checking one or both unchecked SMS consent boxes on our contact page and providing a valid mobile number. Each category requires its own consent. Consent is not a condition of purchase, access, or use of the website.
Message frequency
- Account Notifications: Message frequency varies based on account activity.
- Marketing: Message frequency varies, generally up to 4 messages per month.

First message
After opting in, your first message will identify Housewise Routine, describe the program you selected, state message frequency, and include STOP and HELP instructions. For example:
- Housewise Routine: You're enrolled in Account Notifications for your requested home safety reminders. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. We are not a contractor or service provider.
- Housewise Routine: You're subscribed to home safety resources, seasonal checklists, and new planning tools. Up to 4 msgs/mo. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. We are not a contractor or service provider.
STOP instructions
Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT at any time to cancel. You will receive one confirmation message: "Housewise Routine: You have been unsubscribed and will receive no further messages from this program. Reply START to re-subscribe." No further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.
HELP instructions

You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number provided.

Mobile opt-in data policy
Mobile opt-in data, SMS consent, and phone numbers collected for SMS purposes will not be sold, shared, rented, released, or transferred to third parties for marketing, lead generation, or promotional purposes.
